I enjoy the outdoors and trying out new activities that will keep me busy and challenged. Some activities that I like include hiking, kayaking, swimming, scuba diving, cycling, etc. I like trying a variety of things and learning something new. However, I also like to stay indoors and watch a good movie. I also like to travel, and have been lucky enough to travel to several countries in my life. I am really easygoing, and a simple kind of guy. I try to laugh as often as I can, and avoid taking things so seriously; although I do have my serious side and know when to apply it. But overall, it doesn't take much to make me happy, and I strive for a progressive forward looking mindset. I have accomplished some goals, but there's so much more to do. I'm looking for someone I can go out and share fun activities and engage in good conversations with. I'm looking for someone that is easygoing, comfortable in her own skin, confident, enthusiastic, educated and smart. Someone who wants to share all kinds of experiences and adventures, and explore our own selves in the process. Also a sense of humor, and a good head on her shoulders is a plus. I pretty much like all kinds of music, with some exceptions. I am half French and half Mexican. I speak fluent Spanish and some French, and always looking for ways to practice! I have lived in Austin for 4 years and I have a dog and my own place. I am not into partying, drinking, going to bars, or doing drugs. I am very independent and self-sufficient, but I also like to have fun. Family is important to me, and like to keep in touch with friends.

For a first date I would choose to do a fun activity or meet at a coffee shop. Just spend some time together to get to know each other. If things are really doing well, I might even kiss you, and then formally introduce you to my dog. :) But most likely, I would just like to know about you, and see what makes you tick... and then introduce you to my dog (not to say that he always has the last bark on everything).
