I am unconventional and have done A LOT. Came to the U.S. 25 years ago, went to grad school, married, had two children, wife died, raised my children alone into two truly great young men, written two books, rebuild a house, fallen in love … and out of it …

… but if you are an educated, very attractive and unpretentious woman who can go with the flow and live life without a rigid agenda, what you will see is boyish delight in my sparkling eyes (so I am often told) because I like being with you. I have never been called boring and I can sit with a Supreme Court Justice and talk … and an hour later be totally goofy.

We all have our problems, but I am not interested in women whose plate is so full they cannot do much. My life is very much in order. I am at a very good place … but laughing alone is difficult and much easier with a woman with whom I click on all levels. I seek that special connection. It inspires me.

Looking back I realize that all my good relationships had a few things in common: They were all easy, started quickly, and included lots of fun and laughter but no (or hardly any) artificial barriers.

I have not tried this site before but others and one thing women always say is: “You look like your photos and are as you describe yourself.” I am looking for the same.

Something casual. Ideally in the evening, sitting outside, chatting, laughing ... over a bite to eat or a cool drink. A first date should not have any time limit so that you can let it flow ... and if it does, it is absolutely wonderful.
