I am an outgoing, energetic person, who loves to be where the action is and part of it, even if the "action" that night means hangin' at home, watching a movie or a game. I generally like warm places, which CT mostly isn't, but I do like it here anyway. I feel like, if I really wanted to, I could always fly to South Florida over the winter if I have the need; however, VT is only a few hours away if I feel like skiing that weekend, too. Traveling has always been a must for me, and I've been around (wait...um...not...err...anyways - jk).

My family is mainly from CT, and my family is very important to me. I come from the school of thought that believes my true friends are like family, and I'd do basically anything for my family. I think that friendship is an important part of a lasting relationship, but you'll never hear me complain if it starts out hot and develops along the way (grrrrr). My friends would say I'm loyal, trustworthy, intelligent and of course, fun. I'm empathetic and compassionate while being contemplative, fair and rational. I think the glass is mostly half-full. My dreams are very important to me, so I'm the last person to ever knock yours.

Being a romantic by nature and looking for similar qualities, I think that caring and affection are important...not necessarily all mushy gushy, but wouldn't you want to know that you're wanted? Balance is also important, in that, want is good, but need is a bit co-dependent, no? It's really cool to like and appreciate nice things (even if they are simple ones), I do, but pretentious women need not apply. Just be fun, adventurous, sweet and cool. A passionate woman is a plus. Intellect is valued (c'mon no one likes those awkward silences, unless they're not awkward...hmmm). Ultimately, in the end, the most highly valued treasures of all are a laugh, an embrace, and a life in love.

I would want a fairly casual first date; one where we could relax, chat and have a lot of fun. I'm fairly open. One thing is for sure, I need to get to know you in order for this to work. Just because my idea of a first date is casual, it doesn't mean that I'm looking for a casual relationship.
