Thank you for stopping by and checking me out. My name is Derek and I live here in the Dallas area. I spend time all over the DFW Metroplex between work and hanging out with friends. I have had some success here in the past and if nothing else made some good friends. So I’m hoping this time does the trick!! Here lately I have had a difficult time meeting new people. I cant date my customers and certainly not my co-workers. Most of my friends are married and their friends are married and so on. So I decided to give this another try and brought out the old rod & reel!!!

So here’s my story…I’m 33 years old and work as a sales consultant for a large telecommunications company. I have been doing that for just over thirteen years now. I’m very much a people person. I love making people laugh and to make em smile. I tend to be outspoken and tell it like it is. This gets me in trouble sometimes…but hey I’m honest!! I have a big heart and think of others before myself. That being said, please look elsewhere if you are the type to take advantage of that. I am growing tired of giving someone my heart just to be used. Also if your middle name is DRAMA...please keep on fishing!! I'm getting too old for that crap!! If you are into mind games feel free to go jump into the ocean...Jaws might be waiting lol. I believe a relationship is a two way street. I love a woman that can push me to do and/or be better, and I am able to do the same for her. I want a woman that doesn’t mind going to the Dallas Stars game or hanging out at the pub on UFC night. You can drag me to a chick flick and I wont even complain (that much) since I'm a team player lol. In other words I want my girl to be my best friend and more. I'm not on here to waist my time so flings and one night stands are of no interest. Age is not real important as long as you have a good heart. I can fit in with most crowds of any age. You will also earn extra brownie points if you have tattoos or love dogs. I have two dogs and for now they are my children you could say lol. No problem at all if you have children (the real kind).

I have many interests, however I will just name a few for now. I have a real passion for traveling. Some of my favorite places to travel include Chicago, Hawaii, and South Carolina. Also three or four times a year I take a road trip to West Texas to see some good friends of mine. I enjoy sporting events (Go Stars & Rangers!!), fishing, movies, concerts, tattoos (I have a few), Hawaiian/Pacific art, going to the beach, video game nights, hitting the bars/clubs from time to time, and hanging out with friends. As long as I’m having a good time...I’m easy to please.

I know this sounds corny but some of my best dates have been at the pub like Fox & Hound or Sherlock's playing pool. Depending on the time of year maybe go out to Sneaky Pete's or The Oasis for food and fun!! Comedy clubs are always winners too!! So I guess you will just have to find out ;o)
