Greetings! Thanks for taking some time to read my profile!!

I suppose this is where I talk about myself (Who likes doing that, though?)

I'm a grad student who's ready to get out of the lab, meet someone great, and have some fun! I've been here for about a year, so I'm starting to learn my way around and now I'm looking for a partner in crime.

I've been described as bubbly, quirky, and cute.
I'm a scientist - but not the scary kind - in practice, but a musician at heart. If you see me carrying around a funny looking backpack, chances are it's actually just my violin. It's been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I'm studying Neuroscience in school and it's not as hard as it sounds, I promise! I just like figuring out what makes us tick.

Grad school keeps me pretty busy, and I still make time for having fun, but am finding it hard to meet people, which is what brings me here.

Traveling always has and will always be a big part of my life (even if I'm on a brief hiatus right now.)
I'm an extreme dog lover and can't wait for the day that I can bring home a puppy of my very own, but for now, I have to settle for playing with other people's dogs. Currently, I seem to be substituting plants for pets and have developed a bit of a plant buying problem. But at least it gives me something to take care of.
I love baking and cooking. I'm particularly obsessed with my bread machine. I have fresh bread at least every other day. Nothing beats waking up to the smell of warm bread in the morning. Aside from bread, desserts are my forte. I don't like chocolate and I will blow your mind with all of the non-chocolate tasty things I can make.
I have a tendency to get overly involved in books and stay up way too late at night to finish the latest, only to be disappointed in it ending. I love staying up all night talking or watching movies and am definitely a big cuddler. At the risk of sounding cliche, I love just walking around this city and exploring all it has to offer.
I'd love to hear from anyone who wants to walk along with me.

As far as who I'm looking to meet...hmm...I'd like to meet someone to have fun with. Someone who's overall positive. Someone who likes the lighter sides of life but also knows when to be serious. Someone who is just as comfortable being up for a night out as staying in talking all night or watching a movie. Someone who's able to hold up his end of the conversation, but who's also okay just being together quietly. Someone into travel would be a big plus and someone who's not afraid to try new things. Someone who's willing to be patient and recognize that I take a second to come out of my shell, but knows that it's worth it. Someone who's passionate about his interests and engaged in the world. I want someone to go to museums with, someone to go to Shakespeare in the Park with, someone to cuddle on the T with. (And someone who won't mind that I ended that sentence with a preposition.)

That being said, I get along with all kinds of people and am not overly confident in my ability to describe either myself of the kind of person I'm looking to meet, so please, drop me a line. I'd love to hear from you!
