Talk about being put on the spot! Let's see... My hobbies include photography, writing, and ice hockey... I combine all three with a hockey blog that I maintain (dorky, I know, but I like what I like!). I also love going out to see live music, trying new restaurants (I love culinary experiences), and perusing bookstores. As far as music goes, I like a lot of different groups/bands. I can enjoy Mozart at the symphony or Metallica at the Forum. Lately, I've been enjoying symphonic European metal bands (have you heard of Nightwish, Sirenia, Kamelot, or Lacuna Coil?).

I'm trying this online dating thing because hey, why the heck not? I've done a lot of dating, been in a few serious relationships, but haven't found that special someone yet.

What I'm looking for is someone who's ready and not afraid of a committed relationship. Reliability, communication skills, and goals for himself are a must; having your act together, knowing what you want and not being afraid to go after it, and being passionate about something/anything in your life are pluses! I want to meet someone who is fun and can make me laugh (cuz believe me, I will be making YOU laugh!). When we hang out together, time flies and everyone has a great time. In my opinion, first dates are for getting to know one another. As easy as it would be to distract ourselves with a movie or something cliche like that, I prefer to meet first over coffee or your beverage of choice and see how we communicate face-to-face. It's also a good way to gauge if we click and have that certain chemistry that I feel is important in any relationship.
