I have been told that I am intelligent, talkative, truthful and have a happy and caring nature and therefore I usually get on well with most people.
I am quite shy initially though, when meeting others, but once seen, I relax and communication becomes easier which allows my easy nature and sense of humour to come through, because I don't get gloomy, life's too short for down times.
All in all, I think that I am a well rounded individual who would like to meet someone with a similar nature, i.e. a lady with a good sense of humour who is easy going. I'd like her to be quite chatty.

In my spare time, apart from walking and visiting everywhere in the world (well, in my dreams anyway) and going to the gym and cinema, I'm quite a fan of my settee with a decent DVD or two and doing a bit of drawing- an artist? well, I'm okay, just not a lot of time devoted to it. There is never enough time to do everything you want to do is there?

First impressions last!
I would really like the lady that I date to feel really at ease and relaxed. So on an initial date I don't think TOO much should be attempted. I would like to meet up at a place where they would feel most comfortable and chat with them whilst drinking a few glasses of our favourite wine. Possibly with a little bite to eat as well!
I am thinking possibly of a wine bar somewhere or a good homely pub that is not too noisy so that we could chat, both in a nice sunny tranquil garden setting by a lovely pond and then as the evening progresses, move inside to an nice old fashioned pub with plenty of candle light to finish off a delightful date.
