I'll come right out and admit that I can be a bit tricky. Warm and loving yet cautious and reserved; exceptionally sweet but not especially friendly. You'll have my respect from the beginning but you'll have to earn my trust.

I'm attractive, intelligent, and quirky and I can find humor in almost any situation. I love going for walks, going to museums, spending time with friends and reading. I enjoy books about psychology and science but my favorite subject is true crime.

My taste in music is eclectic and I love everything from PJ Harvey to Chuck Berry. I have a soft spot for motown music and old love songs.

I like it well enough in PA but I'd like to move in the next year or two.

I am fun and incredibly loyal. I am loving and supportive and when in a relationship, I am devoted to nurturing my partner.

My intention is to find an intelligent, kind, mature man with a dry sense of humor and to build a solid relationship with him. I want someone intense, not easygoing. I want a partner; someone to travel with and cook dinner with; someone to share my life with.

And while I am a supportive partner, I cannot date someone who needs me to mother him. You don't have to be a chef, but please know how to cook basic meals. You don't have to be a neat freak, but you cannot live in filth.

I understand that not everyone is ready to be in a serious relationship and if that is not up your alley, please do not contact me. Also, if you are over the age of thirty and unsure about having kids please refrain from writing to me. There's nothing wrong with being childless and I understand that it's hard to know what the future holds. But I'd rather you have an opinion that differs from mine than have no opinion at all.

I also want to mention that I am not willing to date someone with children.
