I am a big lover of the outdoors, and my favorite seasons are fall and winter. My favorite activities include x/c or downhill skiing, snowshoeing, bicycling, hiking in the Adk. Mountains, swimming, and kayaking/canoeing. I would like to share the joy of being active in this beautiful area with a woman of similar interests.

Basically, I am a vegetarian with some non-vegetarian fish thrown in. Eating healthy keeps me energized, and fit. I enjoy a good beer, or glass of wine with my dinner.

My home is solar powered (at times), and is off-grid. I am what used to be called an environmentalist, but now is referred to as a "tree-hugger".

When I'm relaxing at home, I like to listen to public radio, watch a movie from Netflix, listen to some music ( anything but modern country), or settle in with a good read.

I'm fairly handy with building, or making things out of wood. Kind of a jack of all trades- master of none. Can usually repair whatever is broken.

I am easy going, and prefer a woman who has the same temperament.

A first date would likely be a meal together, or perhaps just coffee and conversation to get to know one another.
