I’m a kind hearted sensitive man who cares a lot for those in his life. I’m a bit of white knight and always look to help those I care about to the best of my abilities. I love to laugh and to make others laugh. I think life is a journey with ups and downs and that you should experience as much of it as possible. I like the outdoors and enjoy going for walks. I love museums. I enjoy sitting around talking with friends and family. I think everyone we meet in this world has something to offer us and that we have something to offer them. I’m a geek. I love to play all kinds of games. I think competitive and co-operative games are both fun. I love to play Magic: The Gathering and just about any kind of video game (though I’m not a big sports buff). I love to be exposed to new things.

I’m trying to move forward with my life. Up until recently I was working in Toronto as a mining geologist. I was laid off and I have a few options open to me aside from trying to find a new job in my old career. One option, which would be an acceleration of my original plan, would be to go get Masters now, then my PhD, and become a professor. The other option is apply to teacher’s college and become a high school science teacher. I've decided to do both. I will be going to teachers college and after I graduate there and start teaching part-time I'm going to work on my masters and eventually my PhD part-time and then become a professor. Why limit yourself on what you want to do?

I spend my free time relaxing by seeing friends and family, playing video games, and working on various artistic projects (writing poetry, writing a web comic, origami, and random miscellaneous artistic fancies).

I really don't read that much but I am a big fan of the fantasy and comedy genres. The Darksword Trilogy, The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz, Letters from a Nut, More Letters from a Nut, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Wich of the West, Worlds of Amano, and Book of Goblins are just a few of the books I like.

I'll give just about any movie a shot and there really isn't a list of movies I would deem to be my favourites (though I am a fan of musicals and anything with Bruce Campbell in it). This isn't so much me being picky just that I forget movie titles really easy. My music taste would have to be called ecentric at best and schizophrenic at worst. I have a very broad taste in music.

I think something simple would be a good idea. It doesn't have to be something original. I think meeting for coffee is a great idea because its a nice neutral environment. Maybe if things kick off right going for dinner somewhere and after that who knows?
