About Me
I lead a pretty simple life. I'm done with the first part of my higher education and I enjoy the job I currently have. I think I might like to get some further education to pursue my passion of helping troubled children or just children in general. Right now I'm thinking about teaching children abroad in the near future. I'm in a job that I love, but I would like my career to grow into something where I can help more kids and better support a family of my own in the future. It might be in social service like now or it might be through charity if I get a more business oriented job. I would really like to help older kids rather than younger kids.
I enjoy watching horror movies, documentaries, and independent films in my leisure time. I have an odd sense of humor, but I love to make others laugh. I love to travel to go see various live events I try to make it out to concerts as much as possible. I don't like "real" sports, but I really enjoy live professional wrestling. Rarely a week goes by where I'm not at a concert or some kind of live performance. I know professional wrestling is considered low brow by a lot of people, but I enjoy the drama of it all. Mostly I love seeing the crowd react to what is going on in the ring. I like watching people reactions in general. I like observing people with my friends when I go to social gatherings. I guess that makes me a bit of a wall flower, but I prefer to think of myself as a people watcher. I really would like to go to more plays or "sophisticated" entertainment in the future. I also would like to visit art displays, but don't know really know where to look. I also go to the library pretty regularly. I enjoy traveling throughout the state to collect new and used records.
I like to try new foods at restaurants I haven't been to. I really dig sushi, Indian food, Mexican food, horseshoes, and a good steak house.
I have my hobbies that I enjoy and I plan scheduled activities in advance to visit people and places I enjoy all over central Illinois. When I'm in these cities I almost always find at least one new place to visit. Usually it's a restaurant. I don't have a boring life, but I am rarely spontaneous. On the occasions when I don't have something to do I will go out of my way to find something. It's not rare for me to drive an hour out of town just on a whim when the weather is nicer. I guess that's part of my routine. I like to think of my life is pretty routine, but I am content with it. The thing I love to do the most in my life is just sit around and have hour long conversations with my friends when I can. I enjoy doing this either in the privacy of our own homes, in a public setting such as a coffee house, or while driving to a new location.
I love to meet new people to gain a new perspective on life and the world. I'm attracted to girls who make me feel better about living after I'm done having a conversation with her. Really, those are the type of people I'm attracted to. I would like a girl who is compassionate and wants to make the world a better place. I would like to meet a girl who eventually would like to get married and make the world a better place together as a team. For right now however I just want to meet a new interesting girl to get a coffee, drink, or a meal with.

First Date
I'm open to anything. It really depends the town that we're in. For a first date I would want to get to know you so if we could find a nice quiet live performance to enjoy over coffee, beers, or other drinks while we got to know each other that would be ideal.
