I'm a southern boy trying to make a home here in Michigan. I believe that honesty and integrity are of the utmost importance in all aspects of life. I am often shy at first but once I open up I can quite the character. However, others have described my overall character as reserved or low key. I have a dry/intellectual sense of humor and I love to make people laugh. I love to spend time with friends. I am a movie and music lover. I enjoy all types of both.
I have a good job with a regional airline (but I work too much and have crummy hours) and am nearing the completion of a degree in airport management. I've never been married and I have no children.



I'm looking for a companion in life. Someone to share the exciting new things as well as the mundane day to day "stuff" with. The woman for me would need to be comfortable dressing up for a night out or dressing down for a simple night in. We should also share a couple interests so that our conversations don't begin and end with discussions of current weather trends. I would prefer that she not smoke and have no children. Also, I'm sorry to be blunt but proportionate weight to height is important to me.
Basically, it comes down to me wanting someone with whom I can truly invest my emotions, and who will appreciate and welcome my affection, as I would her's.


Oh, and by the way. Until I'm gone, CHIVALRY IS NOT DEAD!

Recent observations and events have brought me to want to include these little hints (aka. rants) for any of you who are reading this.
First one. If you are truly and honestly looking for a Nice Guy, Prince Charming, or White Knight. You need to expect and accept an amount of "Clingyness." Some men will be more so than others of course. But, it is by nature, one of the defining traits of the type. If your not ready for this, please stick with your pretty boy, bad boy, jerk, creep, and a**hole types who will generally only call when they want to get laid.
Oh. And another one, I have seen many headlines and profiles for ladies who say they can't find a "GOOD MAN". Well! Here is my advise to you. Look to that one guy friend of yours that always seems to be willing to help you out or just hang out with you. 95% of the time he is one of the good ones whom you have overlooked and/or taken for granted for quite some time. All he wants is to see you happy and his sincerest hope is that one day you will take notice of him for who and what he is and give him a chance. He'll most likely be too shy to act on his feelings so you will need to take the reins.
Last one.
Let's say you have gone out on a few dates and it is obvious that the other person is into you but, for whatever reason you just aren't in the same place. FOR CHRIST'S SAKE, SAY SOMETHING!! Don't just disappear without a word. This is without a doubt the rudest thing I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Also, this is not the time to follow that old adage of "if you cant say something nice then don't say anything at all" either. I'd rather you rip me a new one if you must. At least then I would have some idea where things went wrong.
