I am an artist and have most of the uncertainty/excitement that choosing that type of life leads one to but you'll have to take my word for it that I'm one of the good ones. It has taken me to England and California for school and now DC and the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History through February after which time, I'll reevaluate.

I like to think of myself as a relatively uncomplicated guy though you shouldn't take that to mean that I lack the ability to think abstractly, form complete logical sentences, etc. I'm something of a minimalist and welcome the moments of inactivity and peace during my day.

Running, biking, and tennis are all good fun. I plunk away at the guitar and chip away at the occasional book. I love good deep honest conversation but I'm pants at starting it! I get back to Lancaster, Pa to see my family, all of whom mean an awful lot to me, when I can. Lancaster = home base.

When I daydream about the "one" I think of a woman with a certain kind of restlessness; might want to settle down someday, but perhaps not yet; knows and tests herself by the places she has been to and the people she has met; has pushed herself into uncomfortable terrain in some area of life and has come through it; appreciates and strives for excellence; has seen or wants to see the world but is content with her's; appreciates family; she might have a creative or artistic streak; thinks that she could be happy, perfectly happy and content single but then again...

That's my try at being poetic about it. I'm looking for a girl who doesn't take herself too seriously, has her own ideas formed about life and has her own thing going, is optimistic, takes care of herself (I'm a 90% vegetarian), can deal with a slightly eccentric artist/dreamer/naturalist type of guy.
