Well, what brings me here you ask? I'm trying something new since the luck of the draw hasn't really worked thus far. I'm seeking a partner that suits me instead of just hoping the next guy I meet by chance will be decent, honest and compatible. I hope to find a partner who is looking for some of the same things in life that I am. I'm blessed to have a great life full of friends and family, a great career, happiness, self worth, etc. The only thing missing is a meaningful and intimate relationship with the man of my dreams.

I'm a go with the flow chick most of the time. All the time is impossible unless I want to be a pushover. I'm confident in myself physically and in my intellectual abilities, I know who I am and what I want. O.K. so here are some random things I like that might give you a little glimpse of who I am. Love Love Love music! From metal to old school (I love to rock out from time to time), live shows, dirty martinis, all kinds of vino, new recipes that rock, a good haircut, growing fruits and veggies, salty oysters, camping which includes snuggling in a tent and camp fires, public television (NOVA and Independent Lens especially), traveling (anywhere, anytime), the beach, funny greeting cards, a good cry, a good laugh that hurts my back( I'll explain later), family, friends, fast cars, tattoos, the occasional midday nap, dogs, jeans without that stretchy stuff in them, independent films, the search for unique thrift store/flea market finds, rollerblading, kick boxing, anything spontaneous, Assateague/Chincoteague islands, outdoor adventures. Currently I'm reading "The Book of General Ignorance" by Jeff Lloyd and John Mitchinson. I prefer to hook you via the "things I like" route rather than the "self analysis" route. Wouldn't you agree?

As long as I'm in good company, I'm up for anything. When I say anything I don't really mean EVERYTHING for those of you with your minds in the gutter. Casual coffee, dinner and an adult beverage, something outdoors like a baseball game etc....Hopefully something we both enjoy doing, we'll work it out!
