I am re-entering the single lifestyle after a considerable absence, I am 33 and not looking for the "love of my life". I am discrete, considerate, and most definitely do not get possessive. I enjoy being outdoors as well as in, and given the opportunity I can find my way around a kitchen or BBQ!

I am single, and live alone - please do not read that as "lonely!" - I am comfortable with my situation and enjoy my own company as well as the company of my friends. I work in the IT sector, dealing with company networks etc etc!

When I'm not working I enjoy cooking, reading (just finished "Long Way Down" by Nick Hornby - strangely funny book!,) Cycling in the countryside, spending quality time with friends.

I do not have any children, and do not feel incomplete not having any. I believe this is a personal choice and a something that should not be undertaken lightly. That said I do love kids, I just don't want any of my own!

Likes and dislikes? i'm fairly easy going on this one, one thing I do hate is clingy and needy people.

I am not a sports fan - I haven't a clue when it comes to football, cricket, etc! - I fail to understand how the vast amounts of money are justified when our society (schools, NHS, etc) is so badly underfunded! One thing in particular that I fail to comprehend is that a sportsperson can "earn" tens of thousends in a week (or MORE) and a person working long hours saving peoples lives (sometimes risking their own in the process) or educating the next generation recieves loose change in comparison!

I prefer the company of independent, interesting people who have a life of their own and something interesting to talk about. Maybe meeting up at some point and then from time to time. I have no prior expectations, and would like to see how the situation unfolds.
