I love to make people happy and not to toot my own horn, but I'm damn good at it. It gives me great pleasure knowing that people recognize that I care for them. I don't really consider myself as someone who is confrontational or overly boisterous. I am definitely a sarcastic person with a wide variety of interests. I love finding new and unusual things to occupy my time, especially if its completely spontaneous.
This last May I received my undergraduate degree in English and quickly found out that it wasn't going to help me find a job, or more so a career. Luckily, I had been working part time throughout college and since graduation have decided to pursue a career in IT. I am going back to get a more professional education in something that I have already done very successfully. Throughout this process I have learned that nothing ever goes according to plan, but as long as you keep your head up, something will work out in the end.

Personality, more specifically a unique personality is way more important to me than looks. I know that I am not perfect, and my ideal match realizes that about not just me, but also themselves. Of course I want someone who has similar interests to me, but I also don’t want to date my long-lost female twin. I don’t want a “friend with benefits” or a “**** buddy” as I have seen so many of my friend’s relationships turn horrible because their only bond was sexual. I want to understand who you are and why I love you before I jump in to a full blown relationship.
Just a couple more things about me:
A little about my TV habits: I have a deep passion for SNL. Although I do like going out on Saturday nights, I have been known to stay in till SNL is over. I watch a lot of HBO (Curb, Entourage, TrueBlood) and FX shows (Its Always Sunny in Philly, Sons of Anarchy). Over the last couple years I have also become kind of obsessed with LOST-next season is the last, so it is going to be amazing.
My iPod: It’s a big smorgasbord of music. I have a fond affection for Jazz, but also like underground hip hop. I have also found a couple podcasts that I really like which always give me something new to listen to on basically a daily basis. I’m not really into pop music or Top 40 and the only reason I would listen to that garbage is if I get it stuck in my head (Recently I had Lady GaGa’s “Disco Stick”) and have to listen to the song to get it out. Classic Rock is also good, and I can continue going on and on about music but that can be for later.
Cooking is a big part of my life. I am constantly looking for new foods and dishes to try. Plus, cooking for myself saves me a ton of money
Occasionally I like to paint. I don’t consider myself an artist, but enjoy creating wall art that is personal.

Comedy Club, Comedy Club, Comedy Club. I think that makes for a good awkward first date. Plus, its memorable.
