I am a former fire chief, therapist, land/community developer. I appreciate time alone and time spent engaging with friends and strangers. I like to garden, mostly veggies and I enjoy taking pictures. Road trips with a simpatico co-pilot can be great. I love dining out and In. My goals involve improving my land in Sonoma County. Right now we're putting in an improved water system and bringing in electricity: generally working toward getting it more livable so I and friends can spend more time there and ultimately have the land as my home base.

In the next year I plan to do some traveling. Southeast Asia is high on my list as are Eastern Australia and South America.

A first date would probably come after a first meeting in a park or a coffee shop and a couple telephone conversations. Depending on the circumstances and how our personalities are meshing, our first date could be anything from a ramble in the fall woods followed by cooking a meal together and talking over a glass of wine, to an excursion to Petaluma to fly ultralights followed by a drive to the coast.
