i love sports . i also am very close to my children who are now adults and have children of their own. I have a great sense of humour and I am described as the guy who will say what others are thinking (most of the time in a positive manner). I listen to all types of music but I am partial to rock. I currently spend time with my 12 year old Boston Terrier who has recently gone blind (my only dependant). I love to cook and don't even mind the clean up. I am looking for a down to earth lady to enjoy life with.

The first date would have to be in a place which made my date comfortable. I would think some quiet conversation, so we could get to know one another and then dinner would be nice. If compatible then we would have to take things from there . Not a big fan of coffeee shops.
