My closest friends describe me as a versatile conversationalist and a great listener, a loyal friend and a very funny guy. I have a super sharp wit that keeps my friends laughing all the time.

I love to stay fit and healthy. I enjoy golf and tennis, snow skiing, anything with water and my morning cup of coffee. If I'm outside in the sunshine, I'm happy. If I'm inside cooking or keeping my home neat and clean, I'm happy. If I'm getting slobbery kisses from my two c. spaniels, I'm very happy. In fact, not much gets me down, though I wouldn't classify myself as some kind of giggling fool.

I love making people laugh. Actually, to see my partner smile at some small thoughtful thing is a real turn on to me, so I tend to do thoughtful things often.

I'm good with money, have a reliable car, have a full head of hair and all my teeth. Not bad, hey?

I enjoy staying active, being a home-body, game night with my friends, cooking for someone special or a small gathering. I'm a HUGE movie fan but don't watch much TV as I hate the commercials. I love to play with my two c. spaniels.

I come from Norwegian, Italian, Hungarian and German stock. So, I have huge passion (Italian/Hungarian), level-headedness (German) and "Duh, he is Ollie, I am Sven" (Norwegian).

I have a terrific relationship with God, though don't espouse the virtues of Christianity or consider someone else's faith or lack thereof to be a plus or minus. We all get what we need and at our own pace.

In addition to a degree, I have always been a student of life. I believe the minute you stop learning, adapting and changing to your environment, you've given up.

I go to Canada as often as I can, love anyplace warm and tropical (Costa Rica is high on my list). I adore good food, especially sushi and much prefer low key joints to coo-coo-bananas, high mania places.

I love anything with water and sunshine. Skiing, snowshoeing (would love to try it), SCUBA diving, tennis, golf, exercising, eating great food, cuddling, smooching, hand-holding and awesome conversation.

I'm not much of a reader, except for the newspaper. However, I am a weekend novelist and love writing fiction. I'd write songs if I were a better musician, but am satisfied playing guitar and singing someone else's songs.

I would love to meet a woman who is as comfortable in jeans and bare feet as she is in an evening gown and high heels. This roughly translates into someone who enjoys hanging out with a great glass of wine and a good movie with which to snuggle and smooch as much as she enjoys going out for a night on the town.

You love laughter and have a easy laugh and smile, but I must warn you...if you are at all ticklish, you may be in big trouble (as a slow, evil grin spreads across my face)!

I absolutely must have someone who can carry her part of a conversation over many different topics. I'd like to meet someone who enjoys our time together, but doesn't need to be constantly together. I'm looking for a monogamous relationship filled with sharing, hysterical laughter, kindness, honesty and very deep feeling.

A first date would be a natural extension of meeting online and getting to know a bit about one another first.
