About Me
I am currently a PhD student at UW-Milwaukee. I teach English 103 at Concordia University and Communications 105 at the University of Phoenix. I have written a modest novel for my Master's Thesis and have a few more in the works. I also write short stories, poetry, and have an art degree which I have had absolutely no time to utilize as of late; however, if pressed I can make jewelry, throw pots, paint, draw, and get lost in a darkroom.
I'm about as "left-wing" as a person can get, but am continually disappointed with my lack of political motivation...politicians don't help. I consider myself a spiritual person, but I have no specific religious affiliation, although Buddhism is the most tolerable religion I have encountered.
I enjoy someone who can challenge my ideas, but also support a constructive conversation, which is a finer line than one would think. I feel good after going to the gym and would like to hang out with someone with a more active lifestyle. I enjoy talking about poetry, literature, and anything conceptually stimulating, much to my students' horror.
