| | Hoping to find someone I connect with before I get hit by a meteor or taken by the swine flu. Looking for someone who has realistic expectations and someone who is approachable and down to earth.
I like the outdoors and outdoor activities, and I'm looking for the same in a partner. I'm not a 'Hardcore' enthusiast in any one activity, except for maybe Snowboarding. I like to watch the Flames on occasion.
I don't play any instruments, but I do like to listen to music. Mostly mellow stuff. I'd like to say I like every genre, but I don't listen to rap/hip hop, mainstream-country (although I don't mind a Hank Williams or Johnny Cash tune once in awhile), death metal (any kind of death-type music for that matter). I can only stand a certain amount of fiddle music - tend to get fiddled out after a certain point. Some of my all time favorites are: Cowboy Junkies, The Cure, Ben Harper, The Shins, DCFC, Neko Case, Led Zeppelin, The Waterboys, Tool, and so many more. Some great bands that I have recently discovered are: Fleet Foxes, Rilo Kiley/Jenny Lewis/Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins. I also like a bit of Jazz, Blues, Classical (all of 3 which are best experienced live), World music (whatever that means), Reggae, and Electronic music. I might judge you on your musical taste - sorry. If you're indifferent towards music or the outdoors, then I don't think we would make a good match.
I'm not a heavy drinker and I don't have any piercings or tattoos (which seem to be a big deal these days). I appreciate humility. I'm not political, but if asked, I would have to say I lean to the 'left'.
I often wonder about moving somewhere where it's warm all the time - but I think I might miss the winter. I like the idea of changing seasons.
non-interests
-religion - no problem with the basic concepts, it's just not something for me. -sideways profile pictures - if you think I'm bending my neck or tilting my monitor to look at your picture... -ufc - most of the time its really boring.
And finally: Starbucks coffee sucks - it tastes burnt. And 'ALOT' is not a word - spread the truth. |
