My self summary: Hello there. I enjoy traveling, cooking and meeting people. My last trip to Europe was 6 weeks. I few places I have visited, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Mexico and Germany. I enjoying learning about other people's culture and customs and of course sampling some of the local cuisine. I plan on seeing the world in my lifetime (or as much of it as I can). I enjoy cooking and have been told I'm an excellent cook and have won a few trophies. Most of all I enjoy helping people, I'm a CPR instructor (so I could save you if you choke on a big piece of steak and / or your heart stops beating) Ethnicity: I didn't fit in the categories so I have to mention here I'm English, Irish, Scottish and German on my dad's side, Spanish, Mexican, Italian and a bit of American Indian on my mom's side. A big mix but it must be a good one as my parents have been married 57 years. Also... I'm a great conversationalist so let's talk sometime...

What I'm doing with my life...

Working mostly. I've been at my job almost 9 years and think of quitting every week, does anyone else go through that??? Just kidding. I really like my job and work for a great place (but I do think about quitting every week, to jump on a plane and explore the world). Other than that trying to find the beauty in life. A sunny day, flowers in bloom, the sound of a laugh, the first cup of coffee of the day, making people smile. Watching the Food Network for new techniques and recipes. I confess I am a recipe junkie. I can't get enough of them. Note to self: find a support group to help me with my addiction...Also new to i-dating and spending time writing self profiles in hopes of meeting a nice (and sane) guy. How about you?

What I'm really good at:

cooking, conversation and listening, oh but I already said that, didn't I. For the rest of the list of what I'm really good at you'll have to get to know me a little better.

What people first notice about me:

My green eyes, after that how friendly I am. I usually say hello to everyone I pass by, life is too short to be unfriendly. Maybe my thin lips, I can't help it, it's in the genes, I have a sister to prove it....

My favs:

The bible is my absolute favorite book, as it is God's love letter to us. It's full of history, drama, comedy and adventure not to mention common sense and passion. Read it sometime..... Music I love gospel, jazz, blues, R & B, Reggae and just about anything. BB King, Al Green, Con Funk Shun, Partliment, Bootsy Collins, James Brown, Tony, Toni, Tone, Chaka Khan, Black Eyed Peas, Rick James, Etta James, Tower of Power (gotta love that horn section), and many many more, too many to name here....Movies: The Princess Bride, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, Night at the Roxbury (for silly/goofy), Moonstruck, the Godfather series, Rocky, who could not love Rocky " Yo Adrien where are my socks at?". TV: Sopranos, First 48, Dr. G medical examiner, food network, The Cleaner. I 'm pretty much a Romantic / Comedy girl, always rooting for the underdog to get the girl....but I like action too. Bad Boys II with the surround sound on and volume turned up...Awesome~! Food has no limits. I'll try anything once.
