Here we go again. I sometimes think there are no real people left in the world. I know I am real OUCH I just pinched myself. Haven’t had a whole lot of luck at finding someone on the inter-webs. So let me tell you about myself.
I will start with my stats since it seems most ladies make their decisions based on these important parts. 30 years old. Single white male. I am 6 foot 4 inches. I have short brown hair with some gray and hazel eyes. I am not a skinny guy or someone with a 6 pack. In fact, I am, get this, a big guy. SHOCKER!!!! Sorry about the title above. It is just a lot of boys make dating really hard for the rest of the men. Most ladies have been burned by these boys in the past and don't think there are real men left in the world. Or they think any respectable man who treats a lady with respect and kindness is just trying to get in their pants.
I really work too much. My job is busy and they haven't cut my hours or salary. So I count myself as lucky to have a job right now and plenty or work to do. Then again I have already been through one downsizing with this company and don't take anything for granted. One of the things I have been working on is more balance to my work/life. So I make the time to do the things I like and don't fret if it means something has to wait for the next day.
Now on to my interests. I am a sports fan. Love teh Hockies (hockey). Baseball is ok. Football is only good if it is college. Basketball....whats that? I have a broad range of music I like. Right now listening to The Killers “Mr. Brightside”, Aaron Copeland “Simple Gifts” and anything John Williams composes. Yes I was a ban geek. I enjoy everything from classical, to jazz, to heavy metal. Hip hop is the one genre I don't listen to. Music helps me stay calm or just go crazy. I don't watch much network TV anymore. I watch more on the satellite. I can watch shows on Discovery to Sci Fi. Reality TV just is all the same and has became to predictable and boring. Classic movies are always the best. Bogart, Stewart, Cagney, and Taylor. I watched Grease (Classic) and Grease 2 (WTF were they thinking. I know $$$). Most current remakes of movies aren't as good as the original see: The Day The Earth Stood Still.
So I covered the 3 biggest interests: Sports, Music, and TV/Movies. So on to some other things about me. I am not much of an outdoors man. I have all the stuff needed to go camping, but haven't gone in years. My life has been filled with hard aches and rewards. I grew up in a small town about an hour of St. Louis. My family was poor, lived in a trailer and didn't have a car. Life really sucked, but I look back and didn't find myself not having the things I needed and some of the things I just wanted. I had a Commodore computer and a Nintendo. The computer because my mom in her wise and all telling ways new they were the future. A Nintendo because I saved my money. I was raised by my mother and she taught me a lot. She is my best friend in the world. She taught me when to take risks and when to stand pat. She also instilled lessons on how to treat other people; especially ladies that I might like. I had to leave college to take a full time job and in the end moved to the city for more money. These things have made me stronger and who I am today. Yes there are times where I might act like a jerk.
The city has been crazy. I have lived here almost 10 years and wish I could make the same money and live in the country. I still don't get everything and everyone here. I find times when I just shake my head back and forth when I see or hear something I have never heard before.
Well I have gone on a lot about who I am, but I haven't said what I am looking for. I could tell you I am looking for someone between ages, who is, has this body shape, etc. While I am not going to go into all if it I do have a couple items. Sorry, but I am not looking for any long distance relationship. Please live in the metro area. I don't mean to be harsh, but I am not looking to see someone every weekend or twice a month due to traveling distances. I am looking for someone to see on a regular basis and see what happens. I have tried the long distance relationship and it didn't work.
I have told you a lot about me. Probably more than you thought you would get. Well I just decided to put it out there. No sense in holding back. Hopefully it will help you in your decision if you would like to reply. If you do great, if not, then I hope you find what you are looking for.

Dinner and a movie. NOT. I just cannot do that on a first date. It is like the every first date thing. You talk during dinner and sit quiet for the next 3 hours at the movie. You really don't learn a lot about the person on the first date. I guess for me I would like to try something new. How about the places that interest you. It's a great way to learn about each other. I can be a bar, nightclub, a quiet spot, or a geeky place like the science center or city museum. It takes some of the pressure off you and it gives you a chance to get really get to know the person.
