bottom line, i am a fairly easy and real chick!

i love to eat, drink ice cold beer, hang with my friends and family. animals are a huge part of my life, being honest, real, and respect are a must for me. i have a Ph.D in common sense, and cannot stand people who are not willing to simply educate themselves on basic things. i am not a pin-up girl, nor would i want to be. i am active and healthy and NORMAL, please don't assume that b/c i have boobs that i dont' have a brain!

i am looking for a man who is simply my best friend. he will laugh with me AT me, love me for ALL of my imperfections, call me out when i need it, pick the lettuce out of my teeth, and be willing to be a hopeless romantic.

i am from south texas, and i am so proud of it. i really do say y'all, love me some willie nelson, floating down a river, and a great BBQ. but i am girly and love getting pedicures and mani's! i don't want to play headgames, nor do i want them played on me. not so sure marrigae is something i want, but open to the idea. children are great, but not so sure that i want...jury is still out on that!

i have a great sense of humor, i will laugh at just about anything. some of my favs are: books-the red tent, harry potter, hannibal lecter series, pillars of the earth, frankenstein,world without end, native son...

music-DMB, U2, coldplay, willie nelson, marty robbins, sade, kelly clarkson, jem, pat green, robert earl keen, reckless kelly, beyonce, pearl jam, texas, shakira, mana, depeche mode, van halen (with sammy!)...

tv-any crime shows, made, run's house, weeds, nurse jackie, sopranos, american idol auditions, anything on the history channel and national geographic, dexter, six feet under, damages, , the hills...

movies-the color purple, the hangover, silence of the lambs, the natural, i'm gonna get you sucka, love actually, schindler's list, munich, into the wild, milk, le vei en rose, the reader, hostile...

i would love to join the peace corp, go to south africa, and grow out some serious pink dreads (remember, i said i was girly!!). not impressed with lavish things, want to appreciate that results of hard work. love to garden, mow the grass, and get my hands dirty. use to go fishing with my grandpa when i was little and he taught me how to chop them heads off and debone them! i acutally miss it!!!

okay, so that is a little about me...

my first date would have to be original. no movies, dinner, comedy club...that is no way to get to know someone!

playing pool, cooking class, picnic in the middle of the city, doing some community service...i am fairly easy to please, but want someone to put some thought into it.
