I love to travel and take pictures of the places I visit. Although I haven't played tennis in years, I would love to get back into it. I am a voracious reader. I recently finished "Kindred" by Octavia E. Butler and am reading "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen. I love movies and am an Oscar buff. But most of all, I love writing. My goal is to become a published fiction author. I am working on two books in my spare time. My musical tastes range from R&B to jazz to classical to rock. I love animals and am very sensitive to the world around me. I love ballroom and Latin dancing.

I would go out to dinner, followed by a movie. My dream first date would be a trip to Portland, Ore., to check out Powell's Books, followed by a walk in the Portland Rose Garden. I would happily settle for perusing Mrs. Dalloway's in the Bay Area followed by a tour of either the Berkeley or Oakland rose garden. Another possibility: A dance class at the Danceasy in El Cerrito.
