I'm 26 years old and was born and bred in Aberdeen, Scotland.

I love rock and metal music (all types, except rap and emo). I listen to a massive range of bands, from Led Zeppelin to Slayer, from Rush to Radiohead and Muse, from Bon Jovi to Metallica and almost everything in between. I'm VERY eclectic and open-minded and like going to gigs.

Besides music, my passions in life are full-contact Martial Arts (especially Kickboxing and Thai Boxing) and going to the gym. I've been a serious athlete for many years and take my health VERY seriously. I like to be the very best I can. Like most men, I also love football and support my home-town team, Aberdeen Football Club.

Other interests include reading (Fantasy, History, Philosophy), watching movies (Horror, Sci-Fi, Action/thriller), both at the cinema and on Blu-Ray/DVD. I occasionally play computer games (PS3 and Xbox360). I also like eating out at traditional British pubs and restaurants, when I have the time. However, I'm not the partying type and don't smoke OR drink.

I have respect for subcultures which do not conform to the norm. I'm open-minded and admire people who think outside the box, while I have no time for voyeuristic garbage like reality TV and celebrity culture, or truth-distorting, sensationalist tabloids.

I love animals and nature. Although I loathe organised religion, my beliefs can loosely be termed as "Pagan". Anyone who ever wants to get close to me, either as a friend or as a partner, must share the same love and respect for our planet as I do. I also have a burning desire to travel the world as much and as often as possible.

As I stated above, I have no time for organised religion and while I am very tolerant of others beliefs, I kindly ask that anyone who is a practising member of an organised religion (whether it be Christian, Jewish or Muslim) do not message me. Otherwise, good luck in your searches!

Also, while I have tremendous respect for the huge diversity in cultures and races which make up this beautiful planet, I have great pride in my Celtic/Anglo-Saxon/Nordic heritage. In otherwords, I am looking for someone who is of Northern European descent only, although hair and eye colour are not of paramount importance.

I'm open to a variety of suggestions, really. I love the idea of having a quiet meal at a restaurant, followed by a movie at the cinema, then a friendly chat over a few drinks (non-alcoholic for me though, as I don't drink - fancy that? A Scotsman who doesn't drink!?!) at a local pub or club.
