Great food and conversation makes a wonderful evening. At a restaurant or sipping wine in front of a fire, good company is important. I like taking long drives to see the sights, maybe stop for a bite to eat and check out the local shops. My interests include gardening, home improvement projects, concerts, dining and the arts. It is a goal to attend music concerts of the 60’s and 70’s greats, rock and roll primarily. They are getting checked off my list as I attend the great ones. I am looking for someone who would like to catch a concert and dinner along with some great conversation. Movies, long walks, chats over coffee are things I enjoy. The game of golf has reentered my life after a break for a number of years. Not good at it, though.
My kids are wonderful, each being an individual. Now that they are older, I have been traveling to warm places in the winter. Sharing sunrises and sunsets while walking on warm sandy beaches are in my sight. Long drives on a fall weekend and stopping at a local festival sounds very relaxing. Let's spend the time together looking for new adventures and making memories.
I am told that I am a good listener, creative, positive, fun and a good person with common sense. Life is good and is getting better. Life needs to be shared with someone you care about and they care about you. I am looking for someone who appreciates me for who I am. Honesty, sincerity and caring are important to me. Sharing common interests is a good start. I do believe that some differences are important. Variety is the spice of life and makes life interesting. Finding new interests is an adventure.

First date...something simple like a cup of coffee at a shop, a glass of wine or two at a quiet place so we can talk. No sports bar for me, it is too distracting, I would want both of us to place full attention on each other.
