I am a trumpet player daylighting as an insurance claims processor, an artist at heart. There's something about exposing your inner soul via music to an audience that is at the same time both terrifying and satisfying.

I am kind, caring, giving, and a good listener. My sense of humor has been described as cynical and sarcastic, but I'm not certain I agree with that completely.

I enjoy the career path I'm following, and it is rewarding to be able to assist others in true need in my line of work.

My music is very important to me. I've been trained in all genres, and most often you'll hear me playing in a jazz, R&B, funk or cover band playing stuff like Tower of Power, Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire or other horn-band tunes.

Hmm, my dream girl... must be willing to listen, not hesitant about expressing her own point of view, but also willing to compromise, and open enough to put herself in my shoes. She should be health conscious and take care of herself. She should be aware of when I need some TLC, but also when I need my space. I'm into finding a friend then having it grow into something long term, but realize that might not always work out.

I enjoy walks, hiking, riding my bicycle, listening to and performing music, and intelligent conversation. My favorite foods are Thai, Chinese, sushi and just about anything spicy enough to make me sweat a bit. I really enjoy being able to take road trips down the Gorge or out to the coast.

My musical tastes are very eclectic. I have no aversion to animals. My personal fitness is important to me as well, and I try frequently to ride my bicycle to and from work (28 mi round trip daily.)

The first date is completely negotiable, and include plenty of communication and eye contact in a quiet relaxed atmosphere, i.e. coffee, dinner, drinks - something where there are few distractions.
