I am professional, independent woman with a down to earth personality. My friends tell me that I am witty, I work hard to be passionate and strive to stay centered. And, yet, I love to be silly and a little off the wall. I consider myself to be an old school romantic with just the right amount of mystery. I enjoy being outside in the sun at the beach or the pool, traveling especially to Las Vegas (ok..any casino). I love long motorcycle rides with no particular place to go. Getting dressed up and going to a piano bar or jazz club and to me just sitting for hours talking is a wonderful night out. Then again, a movie marathon at home over the weekend sounds great too. I have a ten year old son who is the light of my life! I am proud to be a Mom, but miss the excitement and allure of being with someone I enjoy spending time with...don't you?

I am looking to treasure the moments with an "old fashioned" kinda guy..someone who knows how to treat a lady and wants to be appreciated for who he is and what he does. You should be professionally employed - bonus points for a police officer or fireman...love a man in uniform! You must live on your own - sorry no roommates or living with Mom! You should know where you have been, learned from your experiences and know where you are going in life. If you aren't ready to meet someone new then please don't waste our time. In other words, please don't bring old baggage on this new trip!

The first date? Well lets see by this time we have talked and got to know each other to some degree. So do we go for the Saturday afternoon lunch and continue talking for hours? Or is it Saturday night dinner at a great restaurant where we can have a drink and a good meal? Maybe go to a jazz club after?

I am truly open to what a first date could be. It is really going to depend on you and what you like. The planning is all part of the fun so we can plan together!
