Hi, my name is Jon. I am a honest, loyal, funny, and caring person. Jesus Christ is very much the center of my life. For the most part, I enjoy doing things with other people, like board games, singing worship songs, sports, dancing, volunteering, movies, and music. I really enjoy singing and dancing. I am always singing songs from musicals, worships songs, folk songs, you name it, normally when I'm alone. I also love to dance, especially swing and salsa. I also dance with my iPod to irish music, dancing away the night with jigs. It's a blast. That being said, I also doing stuff by myself sometimes like reading, writing poetry, martial arts, to name a few. I love most music styles, with a few exceptions. I also enjoy listening to comedians as well. I like many styles of movies, ranging from old Bob Hope films to fun action films.

Being a historian, I, of course am very interested in history. I always have been since I was little, mostly due to the influence of my parents. I believe understanding our own society, by knowing where we've come from and where we are going. Ultimately, I want to pursue a career in museum work. The fact that will. actually be allowed to hold history in my hands is amazing. I would feel a kid in a candy store. I would almost do it for free.

I am interested in finding someone who is looking for something long-term. The most important aspect of my potential mate is her faith in Christ. I want someone who would, if she had to, choose God over me any day of the week. My ideal match would be funny, smart, honest, and caring. I am looking for someone who although might sometimes enjoy going out for dancing, dinner, a movie, or whatnot, can have a great time just being with their friends and family, where their idea of a good date could something as simple as home cooked meal, and a board game or movie, maybe even just talking and laughing together. I think joy you get from spending time together with someone is much more rewarding than just watching a movie or listening to music, though those are fun things to share with someone else. What I would do on a first date kind of depends on how long I have known the person. If I have known the person for a long time, I would try to think of things that I know they like to do. If I've just met them, I think the first date should be centered on getting to know the person and seeing if we mesh well on our views, interests, life goals, etc. It would just be a first date though, so to really get to know the person, we would probably have to go on more than just one date.
