The most important thing in my life is family, especially my children who are now young adults and I am so proud of them. I have to admit I am not enjoying the "empty nest" journey and although I should be enjoying my so called freedom ... it is an emotional adjustment. I have finally realized I actually have spare time, so what to do? Well, I took the dust off projects that I started years ago and am now feeling a sense of accomplishment and I have actually completed a few, still have a few crafts on the go ....

Loyalty, honesty, communication, humour ...., no anger, frowns or jealousy please. A brisk walk along the ocean helps keep me somewhat fit, I don't do the gym thing, but am definitely not a couch potato. I enjoy cooking and crafts and keeping busy, I have a difficult time with just sitting, even when the Leafs :) are playing! I also enjoy puttering in the garden (flower and vegetable)and being outdoors, mainly in the summer or a sunny winter day. I am accustomed to the rainy days but much prefer blue skies, sunshine and smiles!
