I'd like to meet someone, start as friends, and see where it goes. About me: Umm, I live in Overland Park and I think Johnson County sucks!! I used to live in Lawrence and I miss living there,:(. I'm a social worker and and I love my job! I love going to gigs, watching movies, dancing, going to festivals, Art Museums, and hanging out with friends. I love to laugh and joke around, I think laughter is the best medicine. I've traveled overseas and loved every minute of it!

I like different kinds of music, rock, indie rock, blues, funk, jazz, salsa, reggae, etc. My favorite bands are Bloc Party, Editors, Tool, NIN, Snow Patrol, Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, New Order, The Cure, Reverend Horton Heat, etc.

I watch mostly independent films. My favorite TV shows are South Park and True Blood. My favorite movies are Trainspotting, Lock stock and two smoking barrels, Let the right one in, Godfather part I and II, all of Michael Moore films, Life is Beautiful, Munich, etc.

I have a great appreciation for the arts. I love to read. I work out 3 times a week. I like to do ceramics/pottery, but unfortunately, I don't always get a chance to do it. I am also a social activist and have done lots of it throughout the years, (volunteering or working for nonprofit groups, Human rights groups, local AIDS projects), etc. I'm looking for a guy who has similiar interests and values as mine!
