About Me
I am very social and have never met a stranger.
I am very gregarious and outgoing. I am fascinated by various backgrounds and want to hear your story. It would be nice if you would ask some questions about me too. I have lots of stories to tell but am more interested in creating new ones. I was widowed in 2000 and have lived alone since June of 2008. I am retired from AT&T, owned and operated a Bed and Breakfast, then became an Activity Director for a 55+ community in Brentwood which is 50 miles east of San Francisco. I have two sons that are dear to me but far away. I have lived in five states, visited all 50 and have traveled to 24 countries. My best life skill is creating and maintaining intimate friendships.
What are you looking for in a partner?
I am looking for a fellow that is my intellectual equal, can laugh with me, has a variety of interest of his own and is not dependent on me to create a world for him. I just want to be part of it. Of course it would be delightful if he had a unique outlook on life and has plenty of experience to satisfy my whims. The most important aspect of a relationship is respect. All else grows from it. (Yes, I will respect you in the morning!)The physical can be developed but it is much easier if it is automatic. Emotional availability and spiritual connection are mandatory. You must not run away when I want to cry. (Tears soften the soul.) You need not adhere to the same spiritual practices I do but we must have as a minimun an understanding and appreciation for the other's beliefs and opinions.

I adore European and exotic travel (no R. V.s please).

Tell me about the most interesting book you have read recently. What trip do you most want to take and why? Do you sing, dance, play ping pong?
My life is centered around a group of lady friends that I hang out with regularly. I am interested in learning about what makes you tick on the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical level.
First Date
On a first date I would prefer walk in a park or a have a quiet dinner so we can carry on a conversation. The second date I'd like to go to Paris. LOL
