About Me
Every new day is a gift. Finding the right person to whom you feel genuinely connected, can be yourself, can learn and laugh and explore, and become more than you are, together, is worth waiting for. It's possible.
Life
To know me is to... Intelligent, compassionate, funny, conscientious and humble (obviously). Deep thinker. Profound appreciation of the absurd. Reverence of life and the grandeur of the universe. Loyal and honest. Animal lover. Interested in many realms. Nice ass.
I am not opportunistic. I believe in a code of honor. I should try to remember to an even greater extent that pessimism is destructive. Each day offers new opportunities. We are responsible for our own, and each other's well being.
Traveling and working. My friends become my family.
I embrace the multiplicity of things as manifestations of One indivisible, ultimate Unity. Innumerable different definitions of God; I revere the interrelatedness of all. I oppose dogma and intolerance. I aspire to cause neither pain nor harm to any living thing. Tomorrow I will try to improve upon today.
I support Greenpeace, The Cousteau Society, The National Resources Defense Council, and The Robert F. Kennedy Memorial.
I have good fortune. To the extent that I get paid to do something I love (with people I love), I feel very privileged. I am a full time professional musician.
"...For in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet, we all breathe the same air, we all cherish our children's future, and we are all mortal." JFK, American University, 10 June,'63
"...Some work of noble note may yet be done not unbecoming men that strove with Gods... The lights begin to twinkle from the rocks, the long day wanes, the slow moon climbs, the deep moans 'round with many voices, Come, my friends. 'Tis not too late to seek a newer world..." "Ulysses" Alfred Lord Tennyson.
"...For to the noble mind, rich gifts wax poor when givers prove unkind." "Hamlet" Act III, Scene I.
"Tinky Winky...Dip-sy...Lala...Po, Teletubbies, Teletubbies...Say Hel-lo!"
