Me? I'm a great guy, looking to be caught by the right gal. When my friends and family have a project, I'm the one they call to help out. Even if I don't know what I'm doing, I can usually be counted on for sarcastic comments, and a few laughs. However, most times not only will I know what I'm doing, I'll have some obscure tool to help the job go smoother. It's something I picked up from my grandfather, who taught me all about home remodeling while working summers for his construction company. He also taught me the value of hard work, and instilled in me a strong work ethic, which has helped me work my way up through the ranks in my career. My compassion comes from my mother. I've been a big brother for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, since the time I was 21. My little brother is getting ready to graduate high school this year. We don't spend as much time as together as we used to since he discovered girls. I also rescued a dog, she is a sweetheart and a little thickheaded. My little sister (biological) once told me that she looks at me as her male role model, which constantly inspires me to be a better man.

My interests are diverse. I have the above mentioned collection of obscure tools, as well as a garage full of wood working machines. I'm a pretty good cook, but I don't like cooking for one, so I don't do it much. I recently took up brewing beer, and I've been looking for a recipe to perfect, but I don't drink much, and none of my friends like beer, so it takes me forever to drink a batch of beer. So my progress towards being the next Jim Koch is significantly hampered. I'm trying a new recipe for hard cider, which should be acceptable to friends and family, so maybe I can get that right first. I'm kind of arty, and I like to go see exhibits when good ones come to town. One of my favorite places is Laurimer Sculpture Park in South County. I like to read. I usually have two books going at once, one for pleasure and one for business. I'm looking to start my own business so I don't have to work for the man for the rest of my life. I also have a nice home theatre, and love watching my shows, or a good movie. Sunday nights Animation Domination is my must see TV. I scuba dive, and have been to several places in Florida, as well as Mexico and Honduras.

Physically? I'm 5'-11" and about 220 pounds. I have blue eyes, curly brown hair down to the middle of my back, a goatee, and I have my ears pierced. I do have a tattoo, but it's nothing tasteless, and it is in a location that is very easily concealed.

What am I looking for in a girl? I want someone to connect to on every level. Some one who will take an interest in the things I like, and will want to teach me about the things she likes. I'd also like someone who isn't into keeping up with the Jones'. I like to have nice things, but I'm not trendy at all. I want to share a couple of cold beers after a long day of scuba diving. I want to be able to take you to a dinner for work, a tiny little hole in the wall bar, and to a family barbeque. I want passion. When I catch a glimpse of you from across the room at a dinner party, and see you being all charming, I want to be overcome by how sexy your confidence is, and have to leave the party early because I can't wait to get you home. I want us to be bumping into each other as we cook breakfast together. I like pancakes, and I have a great recipe for ginger bread waffles. I want cold winter mornings, cuddled up together under goose down. I'd like long conversations with you over really good coffee, in a nice quite coffee shop. The kind of conversations where you lose track of time, and they have to ask you to leave so they can lock up. I want a true partner, in everything. I have goals, as should you, but I would like to make plans with you to achieve our mutual goals.

I hope this hasn't been too much information. I'm sure we'll still have plenty to talk about later.

What I would do on a first date depends on our mutual interests. Besides, isn't it better if it's a surprise anyway?
