My hobbies are mainly connected to the computer, though I don't play computer games much. I write poetry and have worked on the genealogy of my family in the past. I would hope I could serve as a good example to my grandsons, who live next to me. I tend not to measure accomplishments in my life by how much money I made. Music wise I like bluegrass, traditional Southern mountain music, and really just about anything but rap. I play the guitar and noodle around on my Yamaha keyboard too.

I have what could be described as a strange sense of humor. I tend not to be grossed out by very much but I also respect that there are people who may not appreciate that sort of thing.

Ideally, a first date would just be coffee and conversation in a public place. Movies are a possibility, and I am happy with science fiction like The Final Countdown, though my all time favorite movie is Rachel Rachel, which could be described as a chick flick.
