I have now been on this site for a while and this will be my second try at writing this blurb and sort some pics of daytime, evening and sexy I guess. ...

I am a genuine single guy who was in a relationship for over forteen years and married for eleven of those. I am now divorced as we decided that we wanted different things in life. We separated as good friends and keep in touch from time to time. I am not a father to any children and keeping an open mind.

I am a senior professional in the NHS and work within mental health. I also have a private practice. My work is important to me but not all of me. This job enables me to maintain a lifestyle without too much debt.

I am in good health, with original bits in their right places, 6' 5" tall and about 17 stone.

I like conversation and don't suffer fools. I listen to radio four and seven into the mix of programs. I believe using imagination is import rather than just sitting in front of the television. This imagination I draw on in the various areas of my life and willing to try most things. Entertainment away from home theatre, music, walks and in touch with one's environment. That is not to say every week but I like things to look forward to, a camping trip, bike run, long hike through dales, a trip on a plane, coach, train to a new location. See my interests. ...

I love to strike up conversations on my travels and met some interesting people one off encounters but linked in some way by being human.

I enjoyed a period of off roading in my Freelander and now using a touring motorbike thinking of doing the european thing. I my opinion if you own a car or car for it's specialty eg. off roader, sports, cabriolet use it for purpose. That is how I try to lead my life I can put my hand to most things and be a waste not too enjoy life and share some of that with others.

I think what I would like right now is to work on friendships as some of those went when I divorced. I think I would like a companion and lover to share life with. I can be contacted at any time.

I don't drink heavy, take street drugs or smoke other vices on request.

So that's all well and good. ... but no-ones perfect.

I know I can be stubburn and opinionated at times. I am working on toning and losing a bit of weight. I can be a little too forward at times and do try and take good advice when given by those around me.
NOW for some dilemmas. ...

Take aways or Fine dining -
I prefer to eat at medium priced restraunts and own a dinner jacket.

Club or Pub
I prefer pub or private members clubs who share interests

Watching or Dancing
I love to dance

Driving or riding
Riding

Gosh. ... well that would depend on us. ... No good hot air balloon if scared of heights. I've got National trust membership so perhaps there for lunch and a stroll in a house and it's grounds. I guess somewhere where we can enjoy both the activity and the conversation. An opportunity to meet and work on a friendship is more important than an intensive explosive encounter. Not that is doesn't feel good to be wanted but just sexual attraction is not my thing here. Friendships, dating fun is great too, flirty and sensual sometimes. However, I am sure a good date will be had. ... Thanks
