Hey ladies- I'm originally from Chicago, but I've moved around a bunch. I have a need for adventure, life is too short and this world is too big. Five years in Portland, OR, 1 year in St. Thomas, USVI, 2 Summers in Alaska, Burlington, VT, and Santa Cruz, now i"m here! I'm enjoying the Southern California lifestyle and all that it brings. I no longer have a television. Instead, I'm active on a daily basis. I run, play sports, and go to the beach. I catch live music any time I can. I love to dance at shows, which means I like to see funky, groovy music. Something I can get down to. What's the point of paying for a show if you're not going to dance! I'm super laid-back, kind, respectful and great at trivia. I try to better myself through education. I'm always growing and learning. When I read, I try to alternate an enjoyable novel with something a bit more academic. This usually works for me. Oh yeah, and I love to play my guitar as much as I can. It gets me through some days, believe me. I have a sarcastic sense of humor, and I, for sure, know what my foot tastes like, especially on the West coast!

Well, obviously a first date is get to know each other time, so I don't think a weekend in Vegas is practical. Instead, drinks or coffee. Hang out at the beach and try to see if there's any chemistry. I'm always down for seeing music. This allows the focus to not rely on conversation all the time while we get to know each other. Let's just try to have fun!
