What's with all of you women? You should read other women's profiles! Every one of you "likes to laugh". Pretty boring. Who doesn't like to laugh except an asthmatic? And another one: almost every one of you women say: I like to travel. So do I, and....? Then there are you who say, "I love animals", please be specific.....do you like to keep them or do you like to eat them? In my case, both apply.

UPDATE: I'm going up to Paso Robles, Ca. on Monday, Nov 23rd. for my annual wild boar hunt. Will post a photo next week.

Then there's the real world........

I have three grown sons and four grandsons all living in Las Vegas.

I work in the television/motion picture industry. I am currently working on the NBC show, "The Office" and have been since the first episode. I'm the Set Dressing Gang Boss (if that means anything to you) and the resident IT guy, but not a geek. In addition to taking care of the sets, I'm responsible for keeping about 40 computers alive.

I like a good smelly saloon as much as I like...oh, I don't know, The Beverly Hills Hotel Polo Lounge, or even Musso & Frank's, or a Runza Drive-in.

I collect wines. My taste runs to Zinfandel. Sonoma County zins specifically; eventhough I had a Chardonnay vineyard.

I enjoy history, particularly the American Civil War Era. I sometimes participate in re-enactments, but not as much as I used to.

I enjoy watching some sports: baseball, football (NO SOCCER!), but I'd rather participate. I actively compete in ths shooting sports, i.e. trapshooting, skeet, pistol, rifle and black powder. I hunt once in awhile, usually wild boar, because they are so good to eat!

I fish: salt and freshwater.

I ride a bicycle...anywhere...I like the beach routes the best.

I had a Harley, a British Panther, and several rice burners.

I play golf.

I wear bi-focal glasses.

I do the New York Times Crossword Puzzles...........in ink......it's sort of a religion. I play Scrabble and Lexulous as well.

I have been known to go camping, but at this time in my life camping is a Motel 6 with coffee in the room.

I enjoy cooking for someone as much as I like someone cooking for me.

I know how to "can" the veggies I grow in my garden.

My taste in music pretty much runs the gamut. Oldies (the Fifties and the Sixties were my era), Blues, Jazz, Classical, Pop...I'm open to almost anything. I like the Blues the best....I listen to wglt.org (if you go there, hit the "Blues 24/7" tab). Best streaming-audio Blues in the nation, particularly Delta Frank (Frank Black) Friday nights! I will dance when coerced.

I don't go to the movies much, probably because I'm in the business. I do like "old" movies and watch them on DVD or TCM all the time.

Politically I'm a card-carrying Republican and relatively conservative. I belong to the NRA, CRPA, ATA, CGSTA as well as to the B.P.O.Elks. I'll still give a woman the right to choose.

I have my health and am in excellent physical shape.

A couple of other things: if you're broke, have no job, "in between jobs", living with male roommates....you get the gist.....stay away from me....please! Ditto if you're a bleeding heart liberal with no sense of humor or reality.

The bottom line: Simply take me for who I am.... or not.

As for the first date, I'll leave it open. YOU will have the option: pick a day, a spot and a time.
