Give me a cold one on the patio with friends, a good Mexican restaraunt, an action flick, or a good game, and I'm a happy girl. And no, I'm not pretending--I was raised a tomboy and you can ask anyone that knows me. I don't play sports but I enjoy watching most any kind of game. I'm loyal to my alumni and the Cowboys and I most often catch the games with friends at a sports bar, but if you had an extra seat at the new gazillion dollar stadium you could probably talk me into going. I might even bring the tailgate stuff.

I enjoy a night on the town as much as a quiet night at home. I do still hit the bar scene some and love the places with patios or bands. It's good if you have a family or boys night as I need some girl time too.

I'm happy in my career and settled in this area. Please refrain from the teacher comments--what I could teach you, how you need a paddling, blah, blah. I've heard it. But know that it means I have morals, try to be good role model, and attempt to keep my naughty side in check, at least when someone's looking! ;)

I haven't traveled much but hope my next phase of life includes more of that. I'm open to new experiences and my goal is to make it to Greece before I'm too decrepid to climb the ruins.

As for my personality, I can be laid back about some things but I am also a planner and pretty organized. I'm described as responsible, fun, loyal and caring. When we talk or meet, you'll think how normal I seem and you can ask anyone that knows me about that too. I do have my flaws though, but hey, isn't that normal? I can be stubborn, though we'll call it determined, and honest to a fault. I am also a venter, so if I come home from work needing to gripe please don't try to fix it--just listen--it'll make me feel better and when I'm finished I'll be all pumped and we can make out or run or something.

When I think about personalities of guys I like to date, I know that I need someone with a sense of humor and a respect for honesty. I also need someone that knows how to respectfully communicate, so if you react rather than attempt to work it out, let's not waste time here. I think it's important that we share the same faith, though denomination is not relevant to me, and I'd like to be with someone close to my own age. I'm interested in men that share some of my interests, not that just "wouldn't mind" doing things I like. If you say you like movies and the last one you saw came out 3 years ago, then we are not on the same page. I also need someone that values fitness and exercises or atleast can support me in my efforts to keep this rock hard bod (the one in my dreams--ha--or yours--LOL). And by the way guys, athletic body type doesn't mean what you watch, wish for, or had in high school so let's be real. If you know what it means when I say "That's what she said" and "Not that there's anything wrong with that" it's a bonus. :)

For me it's often a feeling rather than what I can list here. I love it when a guy stands behind me and I feel the desire to lean back into him and have him wrap his arms around me. If that gives me a sense of security and makes me look forward to going home, then alls good.

I'm not interested in guys looking to get married and have babies or guys wanting to hook up for a one night stand. It's great if you already have kids, but if you are looking to start a new family, I might not be the gal for you. I am interested in dating, meeting new people, seeing where that leads...

I'm thinking something in a public place--that way if one of my other personalities show up or you turn out to be an ax murderer we will at least have witnesses! Seriously, lunch or drinks would be a good start.
