I like to do lots of interesting things and would love to have a partner to do them with. Come and join the adventure. A "perfect" partner for me has a great sense of humor, and enjoys my jovial personality just the way it is. She is easy going, yet not a cling on!! ( Unless she is holding on while on the back of my motorcycle!) Don't worry, I have a car too if you don't like motorcycles. Bikes are an important part of my life, but not my whole life. That is why boats, pickup trucks, and airplanes were invented!!

Read the list of interests I have, then double it. I even sew on occasion. A seamstress I am not, but I can hem my own slacks! The point is, no matter what I am doing, I try to have a good time doing it.

Why watch sports on TV when you can be out doing a sport, or enjoying the seasonal weather with an appropriate activity? I rarely watch sports on TV. A super jock I am not, but I am active. When the weather is good I can be found surfing, riding my bike, scuba diving, or raking leaves. When the weather is not cooperating, I go shopping. I love to shop for clothes, toys, tech goodies, it doesn't matter. Bargain hunting is a sport too!! :-))

I like to go dancing at least once a week, and I am looking for a partner to take swing dance lessons with. Indoor Rollerblading season is nearly here on Tuesday nights. Watching moon rises over the ocean, fishing off the jetties, and star gazing is great in the fall. Let's grab some grinders and head for the shore after work!

Music is selected for the occasion. I like classical, some jazz, some country and really like to dance to 50/60's rock and roll!! Although I dance to most of the new stuff, I don't listen to it on the radio. However, sometimes just having a session of QUIET is nice too.

Why go out to the movies in inclement weather when you can watch a recent release on DVD while snuggling at home?? A couple of movies that I like. The Wedding Crashers, and the English Patient. Movies that I can LIVE WITHOUT include slash'em up horror flicks, and dull brainless attempts of comedy. I bend the rules on this stuff depending on the company. I am flexible with the right person.

My fishing is limited to about a half hour travel time, each way, depending on location.

I am NOT looking to serial date. So, if you are just looking for a free dinner, or a night out to the movies, block my profile now!! There is no shortage of phonies on POF. We all know who they are, like the ones that believe that being high maintenance is a virtue!! I am low maintenance, and that is what I am looking for in a woman. No, this doesn't mean a dull person without ambition who is a couch potato. Far from it.

Honest communications is mandatory. If it takes you a couple of days to reply to an email, if at all, I consider you to be too busy/not serious and I will fish someplace else. I am not here to waste your time, or mine. If we are still interested after a week, or so, perhaps sooner, I would like to chat on the phone.

My desire is to meet someone who wants to be in an monogamous LTR and who also desires to help build the relationship. I am not looking for a mother, I have one. And, I am not a sugar daddy either. ---> You should be financially secure, like I am. ---

On women and motorcycles. There are plenty of gals who love to will ride on any man's Harley. Sorry, if you're one of them, I am not interested. I want to have you on the back, and you should want to be with me, even if I don't have a bike.

FYI!! LOL!! I AM NOT MARRIED!! Never have been. Not afraid of it, but it just didn't happen. I don't dislike children, and I am not opposed to having them if the opportunity arose.

It is probably for the best if; you're a non smoker, you don't Love/live to gamble, you don't use illegal drugs or abuse/love alcohol, you are single, legally divorced, or widowed.

If you have children continuously living at home, then I don't think it would work. This is something that has caused hard feelings when single moms have read my profile. With younger children in the picture, and their individual needs for mom's attention, I have found it difficult to get to know mom when we adults have limited personal time for our selves. I am not saying it is impossible, but careful consideration is a must. Please realize that I would never try to put your child's needs behind mine in importance.

I have no time for players, hidden agendas, abnormal baggage, phone tag, stress, etc. If you have a tendency to be dishonest with your partners, please move on.

If you are taller than me with your heels on, GREAT!! Even if you are taller than me without heels on, GREAT!! If you are more educated than me, GREAT!! Beauty and intellect don't scare me.

I have lots of hobbies/interests that keep me busy when I am not working around the house, or at a full time job. There needs to be time for play, but also time for chores. I don't use illegal drugs, misuse alcoholic beverages, gamble, or listen to LOUD music.

My phone doesn't do text messaging, which is fine since I would rather talk instead of play with a dinky keyboard!! :-))

First dates are easy and not complicated. They serve ONE purpose, and have no hidden agenda. We meet at a QUIET, and safe, public place that enables us to chat for a bit. If we both like what we see, and hear, then we can plan for additional dates.

If, however, there really isn't that initial attraction,"chemistry", then just say so and then say good bye. It is a simple, safe, and respectful system. Nobody should feel used or misled. For these reasons, dinners, movies, and entertainment are not part of my first date plans. Honesty is the best policy and being upfront, and candid, is paramount for building trust.
