I am easy-going, tolerant and non-judgmental, appreciate life and have learned from various cultures in the world. I am known for my honesty and integrity; my word is my bond - and besides it's too hard to remember lies. I am generally happy and optimistic. Experiences mean a lot more than things to me.

I have ended another chapter in my life (a good one with no regrets) and I look forward to creating the next one with someone special. I find intelligence and confidence to be attractive, enthusiasm, curiosity and an adventurous spirit to be turn-ons. I know the pleasures of life are best shared with a kindred spirit, someone with whom you can marvel at the new, enjoy the familiar, discuss spiritedly and enjoy peaceful silence together.

The water is where my spirit feels at home and sailing is where my passion lies. I have moved ocean-side and am enjoying its pleasure each day- the differences are plain to see! I play tennis regularly and golf occasionally. I sail not enough.

My taste in music is eclectic: from the golden age of classic rock to Gypsy Kings and Santana to Jimmy Buffett and Bob Marley to New Orleans Jazz. But New Age best reflects my current spirit - lively, peaceful, beautiful, often infused with the complexity of international rhythms. (I also listen to country occasionally in short bursts for comedy,usually when I am driving through the middle of Florida lol.)

I have taken many paths in my life and they have influenced who I am. I have studied history and languages and lived in a variety of countries and worked diverse jobs. From Colombia to Austria, running a scuba diving hotel in Roatan and working on a barge in the North Sea, my time between undergrad and grad school were full of exploration of the world and myself. Since grad school I have worked in almost the full range of the wellness industry (which has its own irony.

I grew up in New Orleans where food appreciation is almost a religion and the quality merits that appreciation. Have visited vineyards and international wine regions and grown to love the diversity of the nectar of the gods.

Whatever seems right based on our interests; a quiet place on the water is my preference.
