I enjoy many types of music, and play guitar in a rock and roll band. We play mostly classic rock and roll from the 50's to 70's, but a few newer songs also. Outside of the band I'll listen to classical, alternative, all the classic rock and R&R I can stand, some jazz, Sinatra and even the dreaded opera. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to listen to the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) live from Tanglewood on the radio. Really, it's not as stuffy as you might think. I have a soft spot for the beauty I sense around me in this and other forms. And besides, if it sounds good, it is good.

I’m in the middle of a renovation to my house, which has left me very little time for anything else. I'm doing the work myself, with some help. Fixing the things I did wrong when I built the house twenty years ago. I do love the work though. But at the end of the day, I do like to watch old movies, PBS or even a ball game. Or listen to the radio or read. I’m not into network TV or most current films. But I do like most of the Indies I have seen. They have so much heart and soul.

I’m a bit of a perfectionist. I am creative. I like NYC. I bicycle and hike. I’ve fallen behind in my yoga practice. I am a vegetarian (for 30 years, so I don't think it will pass), but eat seafood. I believe in honesty - I’m not a good liar, and besides, it uses up way too much energy. I love to laugh.

My hopes seem simple enough to state - I just want to feel comfortable and at home with someone - but they are adrift on a sea of deep and complex currents. But hope does spring eternal, and revives even the weariest heart.

Pictures are great, but can't tell the whole story. In the mean time, I'm playing the hand I was dealt. There are some extremes, but it seems like most everyone here is doing pretty much the same. Most are not asking for the stars, but I hope some find one. Why are we here if we are not willing to try?

Call it a first meeting. There’s a lot riding on it. I’d be nervous, but would be there. A bite to eat or a drink would be OK. It would last an hour or so. Longer if agreed. No pressure to meet again unless we both suggest it afterwards via email or phone message.
