Thanks for dropping by and reading my profile.
I am so glad the warmer weather is here so I can putter in my 6 car garage. My boat gives me the opportunity to explore the many lakes, as I did when I was much younger..going to auctions and flea markets or relaxing outside in my Pergola. I hope you read on and believe that we both have the same qualities that could make a friendship work or even a long term loving relationship.
I enjoy the peaceful life and not into big crowds(was there). I am a quiet type but proud of the challenges I have achieved during my 50+ years. Don’t get me wrong, I do go out to special events and functions that are
stimulating for the mind and soul, like comedy shows and theatre acts, even sporting events. Lol. (Blue Man Group, David Copperfield, Andre Phillip Gagnon, Ron James, The Jays, The Leafs (bums) and the excitement of the warm summer heat, yard work and home projects, Etc
I built my home in the country with energy efficient details that has set me apart from other homes and attracts the curious conservationist minds. I guess that comes with being an Engineer and the talents of many Traits. My home is very special to me as I designed and built it on my own along with my six car garage..hummmm...TOYS.
My privacy is very important to me so my home was designed to overlook a cliff of wildlife, tree tops and the serenity of my being. Nothing is better than sitting out in the morning and hearing the birds sing and the scent of my beautiful gardens. I do enjoy gardening and keeping my home and property in order. Since my profession is was out of my home, cleanliness is relaxed a bit.LOL
I grew up in cottage country and well versed with the outdoors and the meaning of nature. I enjoy going for long drives, to flea markets, craft shows and yard sales. I also have a truck that pulls my boat for an enjoying afternoon of boating, site seeing and stopping in to a water side cafe for lunch or even a romantic picnic on a beach or deserted island. Weekend getaways are a real plus to enjoy the unknown of different places and having meaningful memories.
Oh yes travel..I have been to Floride 25 times (long story..hate the winter), Cuba, Bahamas, Jamaica and major cities in Canada. Still love the home life.
I am happy with my life and success but really miss that special lady to spoil and have special moments with. I have come to realize that life if not to be lived alone but to share and support each other in total happiness and explore the new opportunities that we both bring into a relationship.
My home speaks of me and I love decorating, yard work, crafts, gadgets and my love for nice things. I have many interests, hobbies & traits and always interested to take on new challenges. Love conversation about personal talents in crafts,hobbies and personal experiences.
I was raised in the Oshawa area for 30 years and now enjoy my life south of Peterborough. I never had any children and a short marriage, many, many years ago and my hope is to meet a fine lady that loves privacy of the country setting. I am only seconds away to most area towns and cities.
I hope the above defines some of my character but there is so much more to know of my pleasant nature and qualities. I am well versed in many aspects of life and have a curious mind...never say never...been there done it...now I must weave my life with a special lady who wants it all.
