Are there any experienced weekday professionals/weekend bikers out there? Somehow I’ve missed out on this deeply rooted truly American tradition of freedom, and I’m on a personal mission to find out firsthand what makes motorcycling so great. I’m anxious to fill this up-until-now grossly neglected gap in my life on the back seat of a bike with a great guy showing me how to truly appreciate the joys of biking culture and the open road.

I too live the professional life during the week but want to take time to play and enjoy life more on the weekends (and maybe an evening or two during the week). My kids don’t need mom as much anymore, so it’s time to nurture my own interests and explore new ones, like the biker culture.

So who am I, you may ask?

Sorry to disappoint, but I am not the superficial Barbie-type with an entitlment attitude that you have been searching for all your life. I am a 5-to-10-years-younger-looking-than-my-age woman who can laugh and have fun but be serious when the need arises. I’m old enough to remember my parents making me watch the TV when Neil Armstrong took man’s first steps on the moon. I remember vinyl LPs. I remember the first cell phones – they had a huge 8-pound battery pack to keep them charged – and there was still hardly any reception! I remember when musical artists like Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Queen, Blondie, Prince, and Pat Benatar were hot and NOT known as “classics”. I like being able to have knowledgeable “Remember When…” and trivia conversations with guys my own age (sorry – Barbie won’t remember all those things --- poor Barbie!).

In my mind’s eye, though, I’m still 25 and I’ve been working on helping my body feel closer to 25 too. Okay – I have a few extra pounds (who doesn’t when you’re over 40?) – but only a few, and I’m working hard on getting rid of them. Started running and working out about 6 months ago and have come a long way getting into shape. Recently ran my first 5K - - I achieved my goals to finish (YEAH!) and not to be dead last (I was 119th out of 128). Woohoo!

Love my golden retrievers (what other kind of dog is there, really?), enjoy different types of music - pop, country, rock, southern rock, have been a diehard Parrothead forever ….. Was born and raised in Annapolis, so I’m a hardcore seafood lover (except for raw oysters – ewwww!) – especially hard crabs! I can sit at the picnic table all day long in the summertime and pick crabs and drink (lite) beer. But I equally enjoy getting all dressed up and going out for a nice dinner and dancing in the evening.

I’m not a needy girl and am not looking for a Sugar Daddy, BUT if you want to spoil me a little by doing thoughtful things for me and taking me someplace nice once in a while, I won’t object.

I’m looking for a guy who is not on a mission to find “the one”. I’m looking for a guy who is interested in equality-based relationships. I’m looking for companionship and friendship first without the pressure of making a commitment or stressing over where the relationship is going. I’m looking for someone who wants to have fun and find adventure. I’m looking for someone who shares my values of trust, honesty, and integrity. If you’re looking for all these things too, then clearly we share some philosophical common ground.. That, plus a good dose of chemistry, could become the basis for a deeper relationship that will naturally and eventually develop over time. I’m in no rush.

Of course, the whole motorcycle thing doesn’t hurt either………:-)

Let’s meet someplace casual for either a coffee or a drink. It has to be someplace where we can talk and actually hear what each other says so we can get to know each other a little. Then we will both have to see how it goes from there.
