I love to write. Mostly prose, sometimes poetry if I'm really inspired to rhyme. I have a passion for marksmanship and I also love skiing and plan on taking up cross-country skiing this winter. Putting the two together - I think I'll try setting up my own little biathlon course. Some friends and I like to experiment with high speed photography, taking photos of breaking glass, water droplets and sometimes the effects of liquid nitrogen.

I'd love to be a professional writer some day, or game developer, or screenwriter. Any of the three would allow me to tell stories for a living, which would be a dream. I'm a programmer by trade, but currently work as a contract supervisor for a logistics company.

Music is a fairly important side of me. I love heavier sounds, but dig all kinds of music. A few bands that show the schizophrenic taste I have are Eisbrecher, Lacuna Coil, E Nomine, Zeromancer, Mary Magdalen, Lamb of God, Nightwish, Ra, Daft Punk, Metallica, Ambeon, Rammstein, etc. Lots of stuff.

Driving is another one of my pleasures. I like to take little trips out to places I haven't been for an afternoon, or a day, or whatever. Spontaneity is a wondrous thing. The less traveled the road is, the better.
