About my life and what I'm looking for:
I'm recently divorced, so this time around, I'm just looking for a genuinely nice guy I'm attracted to, who can be honest and real. I'm not ready to jump right into another relationship. Right now, I'm just seeking someone to have fun with, and experience life with. I really just want to find someone I'm interested in getting to know, either on a short-term or long-term basis, and see where it goes from there. As for me, I'm all about my faith, my family, my friends and my career. I'm a good hearted girl, who loves the people close to me, and spends alot of time with them. I'm also goal-oriented, and ambitious. I've found my calling in the healthcare field, and alot of my attention is devoted to moving up there. When I have free time, I can be a bit of a party girl. Going out with my fun, energetic friends is a huge release for me. Plus I love to dance. But I also appreciate the finer things, like reading and writing, the arts, music and film. I really appreciate the value of staying in. ;) There's nothing like good food, good drink, and good company, in the comfort of your home. Right now I am just trying to rebuild my life after taking a hard blow from a heartless ex. I've recently moved back home to NC from VA, and on the relationship level, I'm looking to meet some new people here and see what opportunities may open up.

In my free time I like to either go out with my energetic and uplifting friends, or stay in with a good book or good company. ;)

my job:
I have worked as a CNA for the past 5yrs. Currently I work with Alzheimers residents on a secured unit. Besides Hospice work, it's the most satisfying position I've had so far. I'm currently in the process of getting my Med Tech&finishing nursing school.

my education:
I am currently working on my Associates degree in both Mental Health and Nursing (RN).

I have an ecclectic taste in music. I like a little bit of everything. Country, Hip-Hop, R&B, Alternative. Like it all. I'm an admitted American Idol fanatic, also crave E. R. Love dining out for all kinds of food, or staying in and making new things.

"Not Your Mother's Divorce" and "He Had It Coming." Really into the self-help books on divorce right now. Any direction in a windstorm is beneficiary.

I love the lake. So a great first date for me is a day out in the sunshine, playing on the water. Taking the boat out, riding the jet ski, tubing, then a nice lunch on the beach. I think that's a good way to get to know someone and have fun at the same time. After that maybe getting dressed and having a few drinks out would be nice.
