Although I'm not really shy, I've been finding it rather impossible to meet the right lady - and so a couple of my friends suggested trying this website. Having recently moved to a new city, I've been able to secure the best job I've ever had, and they've decided to further my education in the field to allow for future opportunities within the company.

I've got two daughters, but I've been separated for over five years now. They live with their mother, about 300 kms away, yet I spend as much time with them as possible. If not in person, then on the phone. We're "Best Friends Forever".

I love hiking and camping. Love a good bonfire, or a walk along the lakeshore. I really enjoy just going for a long drive with the top down and no particular place to go. A baseball, hockey and autoracing fan, but not a fanatic. And however hard I try to enjoy today's music, my heart will always be with classic rock. Having said all that, you don't have to twist my arm very hard to convince me to go to a ballgame or a concert!

Ideal first date? Tough one to answer.

I've always thought of the "modern-day fairy tale" where I pick the lady up in my car and bring her to a nice dinner, followed by a walk in the park or something of the like.

Yet a very close person to me recently suggested that there's nothing wrong with simply meeting at a Tim Hortons and taking it from there. No expectations, no pressure. We arrived in separate cars, let fate decide if we leave that way.

They both seem to make sense to me. Because a first date is something that you're likely to remember and reminisce about forever.
