I'm originally from England (accent included) and I have been in Austin for 6 years now... and love it (I actually like the heat). However, I'm still not able to find that certain someone that makes me go all gooey and want to spend all my time with them.
I do want this... really I do, but I am starting to think this is possibly just a product of my social conditioning and she doesn't really exist outside my head.
So... if you happen to be an interesting young thing that possibly has a liking for dry British men, then I would love to hear from you.
To help the process along, here's a few things that I sometimes look for:
You really need a sense of humor... and a love of movies is also greatly appreciated. A mild interest in vintage motorcycles is also needed as it is part of my work (I spend a lot of time covered in oil in the garage). I also hate football, so you'll never have to suffer me entranced in front of the TV with a beer in my hand... I weirdly don't like beer either.
Kids... I handle babies like nuclear waste and really have no desire to populate the globe into oblivion. I'd rather have a kitten... they are just so much more adorable.
I like short girls (or at least... shorter than I am), curves are good (pear shaped with big hips and a big bottom is fine.)
I tend to also go for younger girls as I have boyish looks and I'm certainly a free thinker... possibly child like sometimes. I giggle at things.

I'm not really one for endless emails and long drawn out dating processes (I find people end up in the 'friend' category too easily if there's no progression over many dates)... So, I just like to get together for a coffee and if we click, then hopefully it will go somewhere from there.
