I am new to the DC area so I am very open to making friends, meet and hang out interesting new people. My personality: I am a TCK (if you are not familiar with a term google it, it‘s new to me too), I guess that explains my inability to settle down (geographically). I'm a bit too independent, have a tendency to say what's on my mind a little too often, although I do try to be diplomatic about it. I love to travel. During my Peace Corps service I had an incredible opportunity to travel to SE Asia, CIS countries and prior to that Brazil, Mexico and Turkey. I try keep in shape (sometimes) - mostly just jogging but it would be great to find a tennis partner. I am not great but I can probably return a few serves. I consider myself "intelligent" and I'm always up for a challenge or learning something new. However, I am a bit absent minded (always losing my keys, can’t find my phone, etc.) and most find that either endearing or annoying (it doesn't bother me, they are usually in my pocket!) Requirements: 1. Confident. I love confident people, someone not afraid to say how they feel, and not offended by an occasional sarcastic remark (and can dish it right back). 2. Intelligent. I'm not looking for big words, just a brain. 3. Talkative. I hate being the one asking all the questions and I love to be challenged. 4. Passionate. About something…anything. I think it is important that you have something in your life that you feel passionate about and that makes you who you are.

What do I do for fun? I find life in general is fun and try to enjoy and appreciate every single moment. I guess my idea of fun depends on where you are and what’s available to you. Sometimes it’s live music, tv & movies, plays, reading, dancing, pool/billiards, tennis etc. I will go anywhere and try anything at least once. I like to find new restaurants and can go out for a quiet evening and enjoy a good bottle of wine or go out for a crazy night of dancing.
